The dream and appliance, of the most important Greek city- planner - and one of the most important globally - Konstantinos Doxiadis. He studied Apollonio in the 60's to early 70's, and expresses his ideas about the "ideal country town." Chosen on the hill next to the beach of Ag. Spiridonas, for the fine natural images offered, and there, following the authentic traditions and customs of Greek society, he envisioned the simplicity and sociability of the natural life of Greece; for weekends, holidays and summer. Populated and inhabited, even as a first residence, by some of the most famous personalities of the Greek and international economy.

The settlement is fenced and guarded by internal staff. Served during the summer with a restaurant, a swimming pool and children’s pool (with security personnel), gathering spaces, tennis court, basketball court and playground, church, all with exclusive access and use for residents of Apollonio (and their guests)
